Take or choose a photo of one route on a flat wall.
One photo of the wall, four taps on its bolt holes, and every move on your route in metres.
Tap four bolt holes as far apart as you can on one flat panel: top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right. This corrects perspective.
Count spaces, not holes: 9 holes is 8 gaps. 0.1524 m is 6 in. Measure your gym's spacing once; 6 in against 8 in is a 33% error on everything.
Tap two points a known distance apart on the wall. This does not correct perspective, so shoot square on.
Add a photo to begin.
Measure hold centre to hold centre and type it beside each gap.
One file with the photo, your taps and the measurements, ready to send.
Holds are found by a YOLO11 model trained on ClimbInst (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), built with Ultralytics YOLO11 (AGPL-3.0). A non-commercial demonstration; the complete source is public under AGPL-3.0.
